Most problems have a quick fix below. If none of them match, write to me directly — the form goes straight to my inbox and I read everything.
Common fixes
The panel doesn't appear on some pages
By design. vatra can't inject into browser-internal pages — chrome://
settings, the Chrome Web Store, the built-in PDF viewer, or a blank new
tab. Chrome forbids extensions from touching those. Open any ordinary
http/https page and it will be there.
Alt+S doesn't open the panel
Usually another application claimed that combination first — window
managers on Linux and some desktop apps grab Alt-key shortcuts before the
browser ever sees them. Rebind it: open a new tab, paste
chrome://extensions/shortcuts into the address bar, and set
any combination you like. Browsers can't be sent to that page by a link,
so copy and paste it.
If you run two browsers side by side, note that a shortcut only reaches the one that currently has focus. That's an operating-system rule, not something an extension can work around.
The panel gets in the way of the page
Drag it by its top handle, or pull the corner grip to resize — the position is remembered. If you'd rather it never overlap the page at all, open Settings and switch Panel type to Chrome's native side panel, which docks beside the page instead of floating over it.
A tab reloaded when I came back to it
That's tab sleep reclaiming memory from tabs you hadn't touched in a while. Active, pinned, and audio-playing tabs are never slept. Turn it off or change the threshold in Settings.
Is my browsing data safe?
Your tabs, history, and settings never leave your browser. Nothing is collected, sold, or shared. The full detail is in the privacy policy — it's short and specific.

- Email — vyshni.labs@gmail.com
- Bug reports and feature requests, if you have a GitHub account — open an issue
- The extension's Chrome Web Store listing, and its reviews — though a review is a slow way to get a bug fixed. Use the form above for that; I read it and can actually reply.
